Under our "Give a Hand" initiative, we identify vulnerable and underserved youth—both individuals and groups—who are eager to build a better future but lack the resources to get started. We introduce them to a variety of agricultural enterprises within our programs, including:
• Coffee nursery establishment
• Soybean production
• Maize and cassava farming
• Cocoa cultivation
• Poultry keeping
• Agro-input retail management
Through this exposure, each youth is able to discover their strengths and interests. We then provide tailored support to help them begin their journey. This support may include essential inputs such as high-quality planting seeds (e.g., coffee, soybean, cassava, cocoa, maize, beans), agrochemicals, fertilizers, and access to vital knowledge resources and training materials.
Currently, the initiative is sustained through proceeds from the sale of our books (e.g., on poultry farming), coffee seedlings, and chickens. Every purchase directly contributes to supporting a youth in need—turning customers into silent partners in transformation.
To reach more youth and expand our impact, we welcome donations and partnerships. Your support enables us to equip more young people with the tools, knowledge, and hope they need to build self-reliant and sustainable livelihoods. So far, we appreciate the support we received from NARO- MUKONO ZARDI in training youths in local poultry management and availing them improved local breeds of roosters.
Together, we can give a hand and grow a future.
